Legal aspects of the treatment of HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C in the context of the Law on Execution of Sentences were presented as a continuation of the work with professionals trained on the specificity of HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C infections in May 2015<\/a>.
The team realized the training of the two groups: Ivana Murdjeva, lawyer; Ventzislav Kirkov, Daniela Dikova and Ralitza Zgalevska from BFPA; Milen Chavrov from Hope Against AIDS Foundation.
An opportunity for voluntary and anonymous counseling and testing on HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C as well handbooks were given to the participants.
The project\u2019s duration is 14 months (March 2015 \u2013 April 2016). Its aim is to improve the health status of persons serving sentence of “imprisonment” and detainees through active re-socializing activities related to the provision of services and information to improve health awareness of vulnerable communities in prisons in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Sliven.
